Plant the Seeds of Protection with Malfurion Stormrage
The Warcraft universe is built on rich and diverse characters that may not fit into any singular family, and because of this, we’ve introduced split Leaders! In Season 10 and Season 11, we will be adding additional Split Leaders, starting with Malfurion Stormrage as Alliance and Cenarion, Anub’arak as Undead and Beast, and Orgrim Doomhammer as Horde and Blackrock.

Malfurion Stormrage, first of his name... and the druids, Arch-Druid of Moonglade, co-leader of the Night Elves, beloved partner to Tyrande Whisperwind, brother to Illidan Stormrage and honored Shan’do among his people. While Malfurion was the most dedicated of Cenarius’ disciples, learning druidism and mastering the art of defense and healing, their tact is quite different.
Malfururion will be available during his event from December 4, 2024, to December 13, 2024. Once his event ends, he will continue to be available in G.R.I.D.** until January 2, 2024. The current week’s family will not affect Malfurion’s G.R.I.D. availability.

- Seeds of Protection: Protect a nearby building or Meeting Stone from the next 5 attacks. Ability has one charge.
Talents
Natural Salve
Nearby Poison damage heals Malfurion.
Deep Slumber
Deploy asleep and stationary. Awaken once attacked.
Germinate
After 30 seconds, if at least one Seed of Protection remains, apply Seeds of Protection to all allied buildings and Meeting Stones.
* Each Split Leader will be available to unlock and upgrade for a limited time while their 10 day event is active in the game.
** Malfurion must be unlocked before he will begin to show up in the G.R.I.D.
